Just Do It

Just do it. Great slogan. Something like: never complain, never explain. Or - "Never retreat, never explain, never apologize - get the thing done and let them howl" (Nellie McClung, 1873-1951). Do you ever find that a slogan like that gets you through a day, a difficult task, an obligation? Or perhaps even gets you started on a hobby or into opening a book you've been meaning to read? For months I had been unable to get back to my painting although I wanted to. Then one day a few weeks ago after taking a two day workshop that helped me get motivated, I sat down at my easel and said to myself "just do it." Now, I can't stop, I want to draw and paint every day. Hope this keeps up!
